Pray in faith; faith in God who gives; pardon of sins, never leaves you nor forsakes you, Blesses you with protection and happiness. Jeremiah also bore the affects of Israel’s sin by questing Gods words.
You must believe that God is our teacher in our daily life; complete dependence upon him and we will be delivered in our time of trials and tribulations.
“Moreover the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying”
The real cause of his imprisonment was his faithfulness, Lord appeared to him a second time. In the last years of King Zedekiah’s, Jeremiah was put in royal prison for preaching in the name of the LORD. Jeremiah was in prison for telling King Zedekiah exactly what God had asked him to. Jeremiah prophesied that “Behold I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon and he shall take it.” Jeremiah was sitting in prison for sharing the message of God. Speaking the truth had only brought him sorrow and frustration.
“Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.”
God invited Jeremiah and all who heard to come to Him in faith-filled prayer, confident. God spoke of word of hope and invitation and faith to Jeremiah and Jerusalem. Those who expect to receive comforts from God must call upon him. When sinners are thus justified, washed, and sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Holy Spirit they are enabled to walk before God in peace and purity.
People cannot find peace and truth when they are ignoring the truth and cannot heal when they are consistently wounding their souls with sin.
People cannot be pardoned of sin when they have not repented and forsaken their sins. God wants to show all of us great and mighty things, God must deal with the sin first before we can see the great and mighty things.
God favor and loving kindness ready to comply with intimations of his servant’s desires. To receive comforts from God you must call upon him, pray.
Moreover in God’s own time and in God’s own way will bring down blessed answers.
