God's love

God’s love for us is much greater than we can ever imagine. The love of God is the sure foundation of faith. We never are alone and God’s love for us is unfailing and eternal.

Apostle Paul suffered severe persecution everywhere he went preaching. He had to face the wrath of many religious leaders. Despite all the pain and struggle he experience he wrote these incredible lines; Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord...” – Romans 8:39

For Paul knew that it was God’s love for him that kept him going even during the worst trials. It was God’s compassionate love that motivated him. Carrying on preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.” – 2 Corinthians 5:14

Trust In Gods Love

The love of God for us is unconditional and undeserved. He loves us in spite of our disobedience, our weakness, our sin and our selfishness. He loves us enough to provide a way to abundant, eternal life. From the cross Christ cried out, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing.”

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.  May you have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” – Ephesians 3:18

Nothing can ever separate us from the love of God. Neither life nor death, the angels nor the powers of hell itself can keep us away from God’s love. Our fears for today or worries about tomorrow or where we are — high above the sky or in the deepest ocean nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us.

Such love is beyond our ability to grasp with our minds, but it is not beyond our ability to experience with our hearts.
